Owner of Evergreen Studios.
My name is Emily, I have been tattooing since 2015 (about six years) and I’m from Portland, Oregon. I have a different story than most tattoo artists in Illinois. Oregon is the only state in the country that requires artists to go to tattoo school by law instead of going through an apprenticeship. As a result I feel that I have better knowledge of health and safety standards. After graduating I stayed on at the school as an instructor in training.
Two years into my tattoo career I moved to Chicago where my career really took off. Chicago is where I found and developed my own style.
I mostly focus on floral and nature work, specializing in fine lines and dot-work.
I opened up Evergreen Studios in May of 2021 and I’m excited to see where this journey takes me.
